Black Roman Stripe Quilt

Hi, this is a quilt I did for a customer. They did a beautiful job of piecing so I tried to enhance it with the quilting by using multi colored thread and a funky, fun custom pattern.

The following photo shows the quilt on my machine during the quilting process.

This is a close up detail of the quilting. This quilt was so much fun to do!

Thanks for stopping by today. Let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome to Carrie's Creative Quilting!

Welcome to my new quilting blog! Thank you for visiting! I hope you enjoy seeing some of the quilts that I create and some of the work that I quilt for others using my Prodigy longarm quilting machine. I'll start with showing you some of the quilts that I created for my children. I chose the fabrics, pieced, and then machine quilted all of these quilts. My children loved them!

This first queen-sized quilt was for my daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Kent. I used the Good Old Standard Yellow Brick Road pattern and the Wuthernig Heights fabric collection by Moda.

This next quilt I made for my daughter Karen. I used the Baby Bricks baby quilt pattern, enlarging it to a queen size. The colors are brighter pastels and white on white.

This next quilt I made for my daughter Gala, it's a king size. For the fabrics I used light and dark ocean/sea colored batiks, and the design is made up of 9 1/2" triangles made on a grid pattern.

This last quilt I made for my son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Vicky. The fabrics are the same as in the first quilt I showed here, but this quilt is king-sized.

Thanks for visiting! I look forward to sharing my love of quilting with you!
